Chris Eberly is recognized as an avian specialist with over 20 years research and natural     resources management experience.

As Program Coordinator for the Department of Defense Partners in Flight from 1997 to 2014, he was responsible for its overall operation and management, developing it in to the internationally recognized organization it is today.

He regularly advised Department of Defense leadership on natural resources related policy, and built and sustained strategic multi-stakeholder conservation partnerships with state and federal governments, and with public and private entities in the United States and internationally.

Chris is a past President of the National Military Fish and Wildlife Association and recipient of awards recognizing his work and contributions, including the United States Forest Service International Communities in Conservation Award (2013), and selection as an Elective Member of the American Ornithological Society (2014).

Recent work has seen him coordinate avian surveys in Florida, Alabama, and Alaska for NEON (National Ecological Observatory Network) and participate in the Sonoran Joint Venture and Gulf Coast Joint Venture Management Boards.
